  5. After the outer planets were purged of the alien
  6. menace, officials at PTMC began the arduous task
  7. of cleanup at their critical mining sites. A cleanup
  8. crew working on IO restored  the command center
  9. and re-established sensors and communications.
  10.  
  11. At first the strange emmisions coming from the
  12. main planet were thought to be natural - electrical
  13. storms and such. But upon careful examination, the
  14. emissions were identified as those of a PTMC reactor
  15. core, badly in need of repair. Computer records were
  16. searched, but none existed for any mines in that sector
  17. of Jupiter, deep within the planet's crust. A repair crew
  18. was dispatched to investigate.  They never returned.
  19.  
  20. Finally, a senior partner of PTMC came forward,
  21. admitting a private diamond-mining venture using PTMC
  22. equipment had been started just before the alien
  23. infestation. No mining had actually taken place yet and
  24. only the entry dome and power reactor had been installed.
  25. The first material defender to be sent to the mine has not
  26. returned and is presumed dead. Infestation level is expected
  27. to be high. Recommend two material defenders work as a
  28. team to eradicate this final threat to the solar system.

  30. For multiplayer (up to 4), cooperative use; no non-coop
  31. start points in level.  Can be played single-player, but
  32. wasn't designed for it.
